Kendrick Lamar’s “Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers” is finally here and fans jumped on that new record in a big way. Not only is Kendrick Lamar set to see some massive numbers roll in, but he’s also receiving some enormous praise.

According to Hits Daily Double, Kendrick Lamar’s new album is set to rack in 325K to 350K units in its first week. That is quite an accomplishment for an album with five years of anticipation behind it.

It seems that Eminem is on the Kendrick train in a big way. Slim Shady sent out a tweet to express how “ridiculous” the new Kendrick Lamar album is. He also brought Dr. Dre’s attention to the project in the process.

Yo @DrDre this Kendrick album is f****** ridiculous. I’m speechless.

Eminem doesn’t jump on social media very often, so that means his post carries even more weight. It is also a huge notch in Kendrick’s belt to have the Rap God sing his praises.

Kendrick Lamar is no stranger to having impressive first-week album sales, so “Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers” might not even break a personal best for him. “Good Kid, Maad City” pulled in 242k units, “To Pimp A Butterfly” brought in 324k units, “Untitled Remastered” brought in 178K, and “DAMN” brought in 603K in their first week.
