Post Malone is currently one of the most in-demand rappers and there is a good reason for that. He had his big break thanks to his Sunflower track back in 2018 and has been going strong ever since. He also gave massive props to Roddy Ricch recently.
Roddy Ricch is arguably one of the most established rappers in the hip-hop world as his debut album Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial was a massive hit both commercially and critically. However, he is still someone who likes to keep his private life under wraps for the most part.
Post Malone recently did a collaboration with Roddy Ricch, called “Cooped Up.” Malone is also set to release his fourth studio album titled Twelve Carat Toothache.
While speaking with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Post Malone talked about his experience working with Roddy Ricch. He gave Ricch huge props while he was at it.
”I’m trying, man. I’m trying. I’ve been out of my bag for a long time, and I’m trying to hop back in there, man. We knew what we wanted to say, and we knew what we wanted to express, not only in a song but in that particular moment on the album. And yeah, it just came super naturally. I couldn’t even tell you. I was probably on the s***ter when I wrote it.
He’s just such an incredible man and just a natural performer and vocalist and lyricist,” Malone remarked, speaking about Ricch directly. “And he just gets after it, and it’s so cool. Dude, and just to watch him grow. And he’s such a beautiful, beautiful man. And so talented, man. I’m so pumped.
Post Malone is also expecting his first child. He also made his hosting debut on ‘SNL’ this Saturday night. We’ll have to see what the future holds for Post Malone.
