Britney Spears’ life was turned upside down by a terrible occurrence. Britney shared the heartbreaking news of her miscarriage with her fans on May 14th. Now she is coping the best way she can and letting fans in on her experience.

Britney was silent for a couple of days, but she decided to share her struggles with her followers. Spears shared a Sex and the City meme about not wanting to be around people after a terrible loss.

Britney Spears tried to open up about her feelings after disclosing her miscarriage in her recent Instagram post. The pop diva shared a Sex and the City meme on Monday, with the character Carrie Bradshaw wearing heavy eye makeup. Britney then captioned the post by stating her current state of mind.

“I am not in the mood to be with a bunch of people.”

“Unfortunately my mood these days … I honestly hope it doesn’t turn into years.” 

The singer revealed the sad news in a note uploaded to her Instagram account on Saturday. Britney and fiancé Sam Asghari announced that they were expecting their first child together last month, but unfortunately this sad situation occured.

“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy.”

“This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along however we were overly excited to share the good news.”

Britney and Sam did not give up hope after this mishap. The couple stated that they will continue trying for another child and will soon welcome a new member to their family.

“Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”
