LeBron James has established himself as a great hip-hop fan. The NBA superstar is constantly listening to the latest releases from some of hip-biggest hop’s names. For example, LeBron James was recently seen on Instagram expressing his admiration for Kendrick Lamar’s latest album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.
The blend of East and West coast rap on LeBron’s playlist is ideal. LeBron has previously described himself as a hip-hop historian. LeBron also had the opportunity to executive produce a 2 Chainz album, demonstrating his love for the genre.
With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that during a Twitter Q&A last night, people wanted to ask him about the genre. When asked about his top five albums of all time, LeBron cited records by Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Nas, The Notorious B.I.G., and even Dr. Dre.
The Chronic, Doggystyle, Black Album, Life After Death and ummm It Was Written. But I have so many more to name for real!
LeBron James expressed his admiration for both West Coast and East Coast hip-hop. LeBron chose to stick with the oldies, which is a safe bet. Check out King James’ tweet below.
