Doja Cat Wasn’t Joking About Quitting Music

Doja Cat is one of the hottest pop acts in the industry right now and she is very passionate about her career. Her unique style made her a hit with fans and they love what she brings to the table. She was also very serious about quitting music earlier this year.

As previously reported, Doja Cat stated that she quit her music career after she had a very heated argument with fans on Twitter. It was all over a canceled concert in Paraguay. 

Kodak Black even begged Doja Cat not to retire until they can “collaborate.” She had to deal with immense pressure from her career and decided to take a break from it all.

After she returned to social media, the pop star made it clear she was very serious about quitting music at the time while speaking to Live From E!. In the end, she decided to return to music as she just loves it too much. That being said, the decision to quit music wasn’t a joke.

“It wasn’t a joke, not to me at the time. I came back because I made music and I want to make music again. It’s like, how am I supposed to do that when I’m doing a bunch of other things? I’m getting a break and that break is gonna be me making music—which is funny.

It’s like, ‘I want to stop music,’ but I don’t. I wanna keep doing music.”

We will have to wait and see when Doja Cat will be making music again, as it is truly something she loves doing with all her heart. Fans have been eagerly waiting for a piece of music from her as well. We’ll have to see when she drops a new single for her fans.
