Young Thug’s Dreadful Jail Conditions Dismissed By Cobb County Sheriff’s Office

Young Thug was recently arrested on multiple charges and is being held in custody. A massive chunk of the YSL crew, along with Gunna, was also locked up. Thugger’s lawyer previously detailed the dreadful conditions he was kept while in confinement. According to the Sheriff, Young Thug’s claims are cap.

The Cobb County Sheriff’s office has now dismissed all those claims. Young Thug is being held in isolation for his own protection, according to officials. The official recently addressed Thug’s claims to WSBTV.

This is a jail, it is a detention center. It’s not the Ritz Carlton, so you have to recognize that.

Officials allowed the news outlet to see the facility to see how it was run. Col. Temetris Atkins also addressed the allegations. He wanted to show that they were not doing anything despicable.

The purpose of today is to let the community know that we’re not doing anything that we don’t want them to see. We run an above-board jail and we want anybody and everybody to know that.

Members of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference were also welcomed inside the prison. Steel described Thug’s cell as a windowless cement room with only a bed and a toilet and an overhead light that continues on 24 hours per day.

The enormous RICO indictment also included Thug, Gunna, and more than 20 other members of YSL. Both rappers are accused of conspiring to break the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
