Robert Griffin III Sends A Message To Haters Upset With Bronny James’ White Prom Date

Bronny James attended his junior prom recently. The son of NBA great LeBron James also has a promising future as a hoops star. Some people with more time than brains heavily criticized Bronny’s choice of a date.

Bronny attended the Sierra Canyon prom with a young lady who happened to be white. For many people, this completely harmless act was a bridge too far. On a post by his mother, Savannah James, several people made comments about the race of Bronny’s companion.

Former NFL star Robert Griffin III came to Bronny’s defense. RG3 thinks grown adults clowning on a kid for his choice of a date to a school dance is ridiculous. He had some pointed words for Bronny’s haters.

“Bronny James upset a lot of miserable people tonight because he decided to take a white girl to prom as his date. First of all, it’s 2022, what’s wrong with that? He can take an Avatar to prom, for all I care. Who he chooses is who he chooses!

And secondly, it’s giving weird energy that a bunch of grown men and women, 40-year-old men and women, are trying to tell a 17-year-old who they think he should bring to prom. This ain’t got nothing to do with LeBron and Savannah not raising Bronny right, and the color of the skin of the girl he takes to the prom should not matter. Leave these kids alone!”

RG3 thoroughly put the haters in their place. Everything he said was absolutely on point. Hopefully, Bronny and his date had a great time, regardless of some small minds on social media.
