Bill Gates is one of the richest men in the world and no one doubts that fact. However, that does not mean he is immune to controversy as well. This includes a recent instance where he was asked about Jeffrey Epstein.
Gates recently took part in his 10th AMA on Reddit and he might regret it. Gates replied directly to Redditors asking him some uncomfortable questions about his ties with Jeffrey Epstein.
The Microsoft founder was asked if he ever visited one of Jeffrey Epstein’s islands. Of course, Gates said that he never visited any of his islands. Then he proceeded to admit to a meeting about Global Health funding. He regrets meeting Epstein, due to Epstein being accused of child sex trafficking.
“I never visited any of his islands. I did have meetings where Global Health funding was discussed. In retrospect I regret meeting with him.”
That was only just the beginning as another user asked him about his carbon footprint. After all, Gates does a lot of damage to the environment with his private jet. However, Bill Gates seemingly decided to not answer that question at all for some reason.
A fan also pointed out how Bill Gates sent an email out to his colleagues after meeting with Epstein. That was seen as a very strange thing to do, and it still is. Naturally, fans questioned what Gates did. One thing is for sure and that’s that Gates might not want to do an AMA again anytime soon.
