Doja Cat is one of the most popular pop stars in the industry right now and she truly loves her career. Her unique style has helped her rise to superstardom, as fans can’t get enough of her. Unfortunately, Doja Cat had to pull out of an upcoming tour.
As previously reported, Doja Cat stated that she quit her music career after an argument got out of hand on Twitter. In fact, the pop star would go on record and say that she wasn’t joking around when she said she quit at that time.
To add to her woes, Doja Cat recently revealed that she had a gruesome surgery after finding growth in her tonsils. This was due to her longstanding nicotine addiction, which affected her.
As such, Doja Cat recently took to her Instagram story and revealed that she pulled out of all shows in the coming months. This includes the upcoming stadium tour by The Weeknd.
“Hi guys. I wanted you to hear it from me first. Unfortunately I have to have surgery on my tonsils asap. The surgery is routine but the recovery is going to take a while due to swelling. That means I have to cancel my festival run this summer as well as The Weeknd tour. I feel horrible about this but can’t wait for this to heal and get back to making music and create an experience for y’all.”
This is very unfortunate news for fans who were looking forward to seeing her perform on the tour. We will have to wait and see when Doja will be able to make her recovery. Fans simply want to see her back to 100% health and do what she loves doing the most.
