Amanda Bynes made a name for herself as a child actress in several Nickelodeon shows. While she tries to stay out of the limelight now, sometimes it can be unavoidable for her. She also has plans to go back to television.
The former child star’s conservatorship, which had been in place for over nine years, was dissolved earlier this year. It certainly helped her a lot as she adjusts to her freedom.
According to TMZ, Amanda Bynes has interest in returning to the world of television. In fact, she wants to return to a show that actually made her famous in the first place.
Bynes is “very interested” in a possible revival of her WB series “What I Like About You.” It was a hit in the early 2000s. She also added it would be great to reboot the show.
I think it’s a great idea to reboot the show. “I miss them and would love to work with them again. I don’t miss acting but I loved this show, so I’d be down to return to acting for this revival. It would be a great experience to continue the show.”
Bynes added that she hasn’t talked to Leslie Grossman or Jennie Garth about it yet. Garth herself recently said in a podcast interview she wasn’t going to count Amanda out for a reboot.
It will take more than just pure interest to get the ball rolling for a reboot. They especially need a studio to pick it up first. We’ll have to see if a reboot will become a reality in the future or not.
