Cardi B established herself as one of the most popular female rappers in the hip-hop industry right now. Fans are always waiting for the icon to feed them new music. Cardi B has said that her new album is delayed because of “technical difficulties.”
The “I Like It” rapper said late last year that her second album would be released in 2022. Cardi B addressed the delays in a voice note uploaded on Twitter after fans started to wonder when the follow-up to 2018’s Invasion of Privacy would arrive.
Cardi assured that she would speak up about the recording process later, despite being annoyed by the complications. They are having technical difficulties, but she didn’t go into to too many details.
I seen a lot of y’all talking sh*t like, ‘Oh she doesn’t feed us…’ So when I put what I’mma put out, I’mma talk more about it because clearly I can’t talk about it now (sic), But I really had technical difficulties with my latest project. I had not one, not two, but like three technical difficulties on the music that I’ve been working on that … it had to be done and taken care of before I put it out.
When things come out, that’s when I’mma talk about it. It’s nothing, like, major or crazy. Yeah, we’ll figure it out ’cause I know, I know, I know, I know you guys want that and I’m gonna give it to ya, OK? OK.
The WAP rapper loves to have fun and is never afraid to show off her body. Cardi B is very comfortable in her own skin and promotes that positivity and confidence. Cardi recently stated that she’s planning to bring back a very sensual part of her shows as well, and fans are here for it.
Cardi B’s music continues to connect with people and inspire generations as well. Fans would be at least happy to hear that she’s almost done with her new project and it can drop anytime soon.
