Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s trial captured the attention of the whole world and it is not hard to see why. The two are locked in a legal battle. Amid this trial, a resurfaced mugshot of Amber Heard has started circulating online claiming that she had been involved in a vehicular manslaughter case.
The mugshot began circulating on social media as Heard is now facing a defamation lawsuit filed by her ex-husband, Johnny Depp. Many users on social media began claiming that Heard had been arrested for allegedly being involved in a car accident. According to Yahoo News, Heard’s best friend died in a vehicle accident when she was 16 years old, prompting her to become an atheist.
Heard dropped out of school at the age of 17 to pursue a modelling career in New York, before deciding to pursue acting in Los Angeles. Despite assertions made by certain online users that her juvenile record caused her to drop out of school, there is no indication that Heard was directly engaged in this accident.
The vehicular manslaughter allegations are most likely based on web evidence of Heard’s 2003 juvenile criminal record. After being detained for driving with a suspended license, Heard’s mugshot was taken. There is no evidence that the case was connected to the death of her buddy.
Following a fight with her former girlfriend Tasya van Ree, the actress was jailed in 2009. Van Ree has since come out to claim that Heard was “wrongfully” charged, that the incident was exaggerated, and that two cops who responded to the incident “misinterpreted and over-sensationalized” the situation.
Heard was later released when no charges were filed in the case. The trial of Heard and Depp continues today. The matter is being debated on social media, with supporters on both sides getting increasingly passionate in their support for one another. Keep checking back with Thirsty for constant updates!
