Brendan Langley entered the NFL out of Lamar University showing a ton of promise. The young wideout didn’t pan out in the league but has remained a star in the Canadian Football League. Langley’s career is now in jeopardy after a wild scene at the Newark Airport.
Langley became involved in a wild brawl with a United Airlines employee. The altercation started as a verbal disagreement, according to TMZ. Langley then floored the unsuspecting worker.
Most of the fight was caught on video. Brendan Langley can be seen throwing multiple punches at the United representative. Eventually, the worker is seen falling to the floor behind his counter.
The bloodied United Airlines employee did ultimately get back up. Langley has since been arrested and charged with simple assault. There is no word on the extent of the victim’s injuries.
Langley was with the Denver Broncos after being selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. In 2020, he played for the Houston Roughnecks as a cornerback in the ill-fated second edition of the XFL. He currently plays for the Calgary Stampeders in Canada.
