Church Congregation Reacts To Pastor Admitting Affair With Teenager

An Indiana pastor decided to open up and confess to one of his greatest sins before his congregation recently. John Lowe of New Life Christian Church in Warsaw, Indiana stood before his flock and admitted to an affair that occurred twenty years ago. When one woman stood up to question him, things got crazy.

The woman approached the alter with purpose. She then revealed that she was the one the pastor had an affair with decades ago. It was noted that she was only a teenager at the time.

The affair occurred in John Lowe’s office inside the church. The woman said he took her virginity. The stunned churchgoers didn’t know how to react.

The woman then said that the affair lasted for nine years. She pleaded with Lowe to tell the truth. Once she left the stage, the gathered congregation began to shout at Lowe.

Ultimately, he admitted that the person he had an affair with was only 16. Local prosecutors immediately opened up an investigation into the matter. Nothing will likely come of it, as Indiana has a 5-year statute of limitation on statutory rape.
