Shannon Sharpe Calls Out Haters For Bashing Bronny James’ Prom Date

Bronny James may not be your typical high school student, but he still wants to enjoy all the normal things that teenagers do. The future basketball star recently attended his prom. Several racist trolls gave him a hard time because his date was white.

Robert Griffin III went on an Instagram rant bashing grown adults who took the time to attack Bronny over the color of his date’s skin. The entire controversy was completely ridiculous. Another former NFL star agrees with RG3’s take.

Shannon Sharpe spoke to TMZ Sports about Bronny James’ date. Sharpe said any attacks against Bronny were utterly ridiculous. The Pro Football Hall of Famer had some choice words for Bronny’s haters.

Sharpe said if he had one piece of advice for Bronny James, it is to live for himself. Shannon said too many other people live for making others happy. Bronny should do what he wants.

LeBron James has not made any comment about the strange backlash about Bronny’s date. It is likely that he addressed the matter privately with his son. In 2022, there is absolutely no reason for a kid’s prom date to be controversial due to her race.
