Young Thug is most definitely one of the most hyped rappers in the hip-hop world and he is well aware of his skills at dropping a verse. Even the likes of Lil Wayne have enjoyed working with him. His ongoing case continues to make headlines for all the wrong reasons.
The shocking news about the arrests of Young Thug, Gunna, and 26 of their alleged associates has dominated the news. Even Thug’s attorney said that he has committed no crime.
Gunna and Thug have remained incarcerated in Atlanta as the RICO case against them continues. In Gunna’s case, he learned that his bond was denied and a trial date for January 2023 has been set.
Young Thug also made an appearance in Court. As revealed by footage provided by Fox 5 News in Atlanta, details about his preliminary hearing were given. Young Thug’s lawyers were accused of having conflict of interest by prosecutors as well.
“A judge delayed his decision on bond for Jeffrey Williams, known on stage as Young Thug,” they reported. “Prosecutors contend there is a conflict of interest issue regarding Williams’ attorney. The judge asked for time to rule on the prosecutors’ motions before deciding on bond.”
Young Thug’s attorneys recently complained about his accommodations but jailers refuted the allegations. In addition to the RICO and street gang accusations, Young Thug was charged with drug distribution and firearms possession by Fulton County officials. We’ll have to see what will become of him in the end.
