Britney Spears was finally freed from her conservatorship after 13 long years back in November last year. Fans and friends alike rejoiced as Spears could finally enjoy the life she was deprived of for so long. The pop sensation recently linked up with “Euphoria” creator and The Weeknd.
The Weeknd and “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson are collaborating on a new HBO series called “The Idol.” Spears captioned a brief video on Instagram of herself smiling while standing between Levinson and the 32-year-old singer of “Take My Breath.”
Here’s me today meeting the director of @euphoria today and @theweeknd.
The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, left a red heart emoji comment on the post. In the meantime, Spears’ fiancé, Sam Asghari, teased, “New character in euphoria?” Victoria “Vicky T” Asher, the singer’s new assistant, said that she organized the get-together, writing on her Instagram Story that Levinson “has been my pal since I was 16.”
Levinson and The Weeknd announced their collaboration on “The Idol” in June 2021. The series is about a budding pop sensation and her romance with a Los Angeles club owner who heads a secret cult. The lead characters are played by the actor from “Blinding Lights” and Lily-Rose Depp. Check out the meet-up picture below.
