Drake is one of hip-hop’s most well-known performers today. Almost all of the top personalities in the rap industry admire him unless they have beef or Drizzy stole their girl at one time or another. Despite it all, Drake’s growth after “Degrassi” was recently praised by 50 Cent.

Drizzy has been a strong force in the music business for the past ten years. People have almost forgotten about his true origin story due to his rap stardom. Drake was a young star on Degrassi: The Next Generation before smashing Billboard records and collecting platinum plaques.

In the Canadian teen drama, he portrayed Jimmy Brooks, and he recently reflected on some of his fashion choices at the time. The rapper uploaded some retro photos on his Instagram Story, where he’s dripped out in old Jordan gear and OG 50 Cent merch. Drake captioned the photo with a laughing emoji, “Degrassi fits were serious.”

Of course, Fif was aware of the story and commented on his own Instagram story, praising Drake for his success in the entertainment industry.

“That boy @champagnepapi came wit it, he got off that show and made some real f*cking hits man.”

This might be an indication that Drake is thinking about returning to the big screen. With 50 Cent constructing a television empire, Drake may have a chance to join the Power-verse. Drizzy previously credited 50 Cent as a major influence on how he incorporates melodies into his raps.

Drake praised 50 Cent’s “21 Questions” as an inspiring example of “a guy who’s not supposed to be singing, singing” during an interview with RapRadar. In reaction, 50 stated that it was “the coolest s*it in the world for him to say, because I can’t sing as good as he sings.”

Fans will be looking forward to this moment, if it ever happens. Then again, Drake might be too busy for acting at this stage in his career. Let’s see what happens. In the meantime, you can check out Fif’s post below. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
