Pete Davidson has become one of the most sought after celebrities in the world right now. In fact, Pete Davidson participated in his final SNL episode last week. For many fans, it was an emotional sendoff.
While speaking to TMZ, David Spade was asked about the latest set of exits from ‘Saturday Night Live.’ Pete Davidson, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon and Kyle Mooney left the show as of last week.
David Spade stated that he was not shocked by the mass exits, adding that the show is a “F****** beating” – which means, a grind. Spade also indirectly answered a question, when asked if Davidson will be remembered as an all-time great in ‘SNL.’
I stayed six years, Adam Sandler stayed five years. I think people leave because it’s such a f****** beating, it’s tough on the brains and the body.
[On Pete Davidson] I don’t think I’ve seen enough of the new cast, I would have to really review the tapes.
Pete Davidson wrote an emotional letter ahead of his final ‘SNL’ appearance as well. We’ll have to see what the future holds for Pete Davidson. As for ‘SNL,’ it will do just fine without Davidson.
