The brotherhood of Roddy Ricch and Gunna is well-known in the industry. A few days back, Gunna was detained after being implicated in a RICO indictment. Roddy Ricch recently showed his support for Gunna after the indictment, demonstrating his friendship.
Gunna is still behind bars because of the RICO charges, but his friend hasn’t forgotten about him. Roddy Ricch used social media on Friday to express his support for his frequent collaborator Gunna. Roddy added in an Instagram Story that his mother is praying for him as well. Roddy was supposed to perform with Gunna at a gig in Ontario, California on Saturday night, but it was canceled after Gunna was arrested.
“Free @gunna. We miss you out here champ.”
The rapper’s bond was denied last week by a judge in Fulton County Superior Court, who set his trial date for January 2023. Young Thug and Gunna were named in an 88-page indictment against dozens of Young Slime Life members.
Gunna was a “documented” member of the suspected YSL gang, according to prosecutors. They further claimed that Gunna and Thug have the ability to “command their troops” to conduct acts of violence. Gunna and Thug are still receiving a lot of love from their peers in the hip-hop community. Post Malone also expressed his gratitude to his buddies.
“I love you more than life itself thug, gun. My love and my support will be here forever.”
Gunna’s bail was denied, thus he is still behind the bars. There’s no way of knowing when he’ll be released. Gunna’s fans and family members are fervently hoping that he will be released soon. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more information.
