The school shooting that resulted in the deaths of 19 children and two adults in Texas this week instilled fear in the minds of so many. Recently, because of this horrific incident, someone heckled Ted Cruz while he was out for a dinner last night.

Senator Ted Cruz was confronted by an outraged individual just days after the horrific shooting at an elementary school in Texas that left 21 people dead. Last night, the Texas Republican legislator was at a sushi dinner when he was interrupted by someone who chastised him for his tough position on firearms.

“19 children died! That’s on your hands! Ted Cruz, that’s on your hands!”

The person in the midst of the dinner was blasting at Ted Cruz. His bodyguard and others near to him were preventing that person from approaching Ted Cruz. Someone else in the restaurant captured the clip and uploaded it to Tiktok.

The incident was captured on camera, which was extensively shared on social media. Benjamin Hernandez has been identified as the individual in the video. He was in Houston to webcast the protests outside the NRA convention, he told HuffPost. He claimed to have seen Cruz enter the same restaurant and chose to confront him.
