Lion’s Hilarious Mullet Haircut Leads To Controversy For Chinese Zoo

The lion is known as the king of the jungle and one of the most imposing features of a lion is certainly its mane. However, one zoo in China didn’t quite get the memo. In fact, the aforementioned zoo takes no responsibility for what happened to a lion’s mane.

According to TMZ, Hang Hang the lion has the internet talking thanks to his mullet-like hairdo. Many people are blaming the Guangzhou zoo for the unfortunate hairdo, but the zoo itself claims it has nothing to do with the lion’s look.

The zoo claimed that high humidity is responsible for Hang Hang’s blown-out mullet. They further claimed that the not-so-regal beast licked his paws and brushed his hair out during a recent extreme heatwave.

The zoo just ended it by saying it was due to “nature’s magic,” adding Hang Hang looks like a blonde supermodel, but other people do not quite see it that way. Some say he looks like one of The Beatles, while others feel he looks like Joe Exotic for some bizarre reason.

One zoo goer claims his hair looked nothing like this 2 months ago when they went to the zoo. Others claim that the zoo staff ruined the lion’s hair. Regardless, Hang Hang will just hang in there for now.
