NXT 2.0 has been going on for the past few months and fans have finally warmed up to it, for the most part. The new selection of stars including Bron Breakker and the rest have certainly drawn the interest of fans. WWE is also set to tape upcoming episodes of the show.
According to PW Insider, it was announced during this week’s NXT that next week the company will be holding double tapings on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
The June 7th episode will air live as usual and then tape the June 14th edition in advance while the June 21st show will be pre-taped. Furthermore, it was said that WWE plans to return to live episodes starting on June 28th.
At last night’s WWE NXT TV taping, it was announced they would be taping both Tuesday and Wednesday this coming week at the WWE Performance Center. The Tuesday 6/21 episode on the USA Network will be pre-taped. We are told they will be back to live weekly on Tuesdays following that one week.
It is not exactly known why the company is taping this one episode of the show, but it is what it is. WWE NXT’s In Your House special will take place this Saturday and feature matches such as WWE NXT Champion Bron Breakker vs. Joe Gacy, Women’s Champion Mandy Rose vs. Wendy Choo and others. We’ll have to see how the event will turn out to be.
