Elvis impersonators in Las Vegas have become one of the best things about the place now. Getting married in the presence of a fake Elvis has become the norm there as well. Elvis impersonators also refuse to stop officiating after recent circumstances.
As previously reported, Authentic Brands Group sent cease and desist letters to all Vegas chapels, telling Elvis impersonators from officiating weddings. Fans believed this would put a huge dent in the wedding market.
While speaking to TMZ, Elvis impersonators Jesse Garon and Dean Diamond have worked numerous weddings over the years. They stated that Elvis Presley would be shocked if he knew what Authentic Brands Group is doing.
They said that the late singer was a giving man and definitely would have been humbled if he knew his legacy lives on through their work. In fact, this move is something Elvis would have not liked either.
Dean stated that the city of Las Vegas supports them as does the Nevada Governor. Any Elvis-themed stage shows are still legal under Nevada’s right of publicity law, which protects live performances with impersonators. Keep checking back at Thirsty for more updates on this ongoing story!
