Johnny Depp Celebrates Court Victory Over Amber Heard During Trip To The UK

Johnny Depp has taken a trip to jolly old England. The superstar actor recently emerged victorious in his defamation suit against ex-wife Amber Heard. Johnny received an enormous amount of public support from fans in the United States, and now it’s carrying over abroad.

TMZ reports that Johnny Depp was greeted by huge crowds of cheering fans this morning outside his Newcastle hotel. Security served as a human shield to keep them from completely engulfing Depp. That doesn’t mean he didn’t feel solidarity with his supporters.

Johnny Depp was pictured raising his fist and pumping his hand in celebration with the gathered masses. The fans in the UK appear just as pumped about the verdict as those in America. Johnny was there with them.

Depp posed for photos with fans as he continued his celebration. It was a victory lap many believe Johnny richly deserved. Even his legal team got a hero’s ovation.

Two years ago, Johnny Depp was ruled a “wife-beater” in a libel lawsuit against a UK tabloid. Amber Heard’s attorneys attempted to use that during the case. Since it fell under UK law and the defamation suit happened in Virginia, the judge did not allow the decision to be entered as evidence.

It doesn’t sound like Amber Heard has the means or the motivation to ever pay the whopping $15 million settlement. For Johnny Depp, vindication might be enough for now. There is still plenty of legal wrangling to do if Johnny ever wants to see a cent of what the court ruled he is owed.
