The Kyle Rittenhouse trial was one of the most talked-about and high-profile trials last year. Despite all of his offences, he still has his supporters for some reason. Rittenhouse is now going after Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook.

For those who don’t know, Rittenhouse shot three men during demonstrations in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in August 2020. This resulted in two deaths and one of them was injured. Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty of all counts and walked free.

While speaking to Fox News Digital, Todd McMurtry, Rittenhouse’s new attorney said that he and his team will file “at least 10” defamation lawsuits against large companies and prominent individuals.

The lawyer said that he was “assured that there’s probably 10 to 15 solid” cases that could be filed against “large defendants. He mentioned Facebook and its CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, accusing the platform of defaming Rittenhouse.

In fact, the lawyer further added that Zuckerberg would be “at the top” of the list of parties to be sued by Rittenhouse, because of his “outsized voice.

“They said that he was involved in a mass murder incident. This was not a mass murder incident. It was clearly factually false.

To call somebody a mass murderer is seriously defamatory. And then to use the power of social media to basically … censor any views that would take opposition to that mass murderer statement is a serious effort to destroy his character.

Rittenhouse was also previously upset that Joe Biden did not return his calls. We’ll have to see how Rittenhouse’s suit turns out to be. Odds are, it won’t go anywhere.
