Queen remains one of the most influential bans of all time. Freddie Mercury’s powerful voice and showmanship helped propel him and the band to legendary status. Queen will release a never-been-seen Freddie Mercury song as well.
The band has produced numerous iconic songs such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust and so many more. Fans always go back to listening to Queen whenever they want to experience true classical goodness.
Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor confirmed to the BBC that the band would be releasing a new song featuring the late great Freddie Mercury. The song is called “Face It Alone.”
Taylor called it, “a little gem from Freddie,” which was produced for their 13th studio album, “The Miracle,” which was released in 1989. Mercury would pass away two years later.
Taylor further added they had “kind of forgotten about” the tune, calling it “wonderful” and “real discovery.” Brian May also shared his thoughts on the song.
“It was kind of hiding in plain sight. We looked at it many times and thought, ‘Oh no, we can’t really rescue that.’ But in fact, we went in there again and our wonderful engineering team went, ‘OK, we can do this and this.’ It’s like kind of stitching bits together… But it’s beautiful. It’s touching.”
We will have to wait and see when the unreleased song will finally drop. Fans will certainly be excited to hear Freddie Mercury again no matter what. Odds are, it will be a song to remember.
