‘Chrisley Knows Best’ Season Will Continue As Planned After Tax Evasion Convictions

Todd and Julie Chrisley are facing some serious legal hot water. The couple was convicted on multiple counts of bank fraud and tax evasion yesterday. Many fans of their reality show, ‘Chrisley Knows Best,’ have wondered how this will affect the series.

Chrisley Knows Best is currently in the middle of its 9th season. It is USA Network’s most-watched current original series. Deadline has reported that USA will air the remaining episodes of this season as planned.

All of the footage shot for season 9 was taken before the start of the trial. New episodes will air as planned starting on June 23. The convictions did not play a role in the decision.

Federal prosecutors in Atlanta, Georgia charged Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley with conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and tax fraud. Julie received further charges of wire fraud and obstruction of justice. The allegedly wholesome couple is set to be sentenced on October 6, 2022.

Todd and Julie Chrisley are both facing up to thirty years in prison. They have been released on bond, but must participate in location monitoring and are under house arrest. The future of the popular reality show is unknown.

This could be the final season of Chrisley Knows Best. Fans will have to find their reality fix elsewhere. Todd and Julie might be taking a very long vacation from the comfortable lifestyle portrayed in the series.
