Tom Brady is coming back to the NFL to chase yet another Vince Lombardi Trophy. The multiple-time Super Bowl winner would love it if he could do it with one of his closest friends. Brady isn’t about to put any pressure on Rob Gronkowski about returning, though.
Brady and Gronk stuck together after Tom jumped ship from the New England Patriots before the 2020 season. That move instantly paid off, as the Bucs won the Super Bowl that year. Fans have been wondering if Rob Gronkowski will join Tom Brady for his comeback tour next season.
The GOAT recently addressed his feelings on the matter. Speaking to the media, Tom Brady said it’s ultimately up to Gronk to decide what he wants to do. He won’t put any pressure on him, though.
“I think it’s just obviously totally up to him and we’d all love to play with him, but he’s gotta make the best decision for himself and he knows that. Anyone who cares about him knows that he’s doing what’s right for him, which is trying to figure it out.
We don’t have training camp for about six weeks so whatever he’s gotta do to figure it out. I think we’ll be hopeful he does and if he doesn’t, we still gotta go out there and figure out what to do.”
Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are one of the NFL’s greatest bromances. If Gronk does decide to come back, he stands a great chance to win another Super Bowl. Even if he doesn’t, he’ll get some much-needed bro time with Tom.
