Halsey is one of the biggest pop acts in the industry. She is also a proud and caring mother. Halsey recently fired her nanny because she thought the nanny was unsafe for her kid. The nanny then sued Halsey over the firing and things took a complicated turn from there.
Halsey is retaliating against their former nanny, who is suing the singer for wrongful termination. The singer claimed the nanny was merely fired because she posed a risk to Halsey’s child. Ashley Funches, Halsey’s former nanny, is reportedly suing the singer for handicap discrimination and retaliation.
The nanny alleged she was fired because she took time off for an emergency medical treatment. Halsey, on the other hand, has a different perspective. A representative for Halsey informed TMZ about her statement.
These allegations are baseless. This individual’s employment was recently terminated in response to specific incidents in which Halsey’s infant was left unsupervised in an unsafe location while under the nanny’s care, and it was discovered the nanny was intoxicated while the child was in her care.
Furthermore, at no time during this individual’s term of employment with Halsey were any complaints even raised. Consequently, while Halsey is both saddened and disappointed by this turn of events, they feel it is important to refute these allegations publicly, as they take ableism and ethical working conditions very seriously.
Halsey was also recently diagnosed with several serious health problems. The “Bad at Love” singer had to have surgery to deal with complications arising from chronic endometriosis. Meanwhile, the investigation is still ongoing. To get latest updates, stay tuned to Thirsty.
