Elon Musk doesn’t transform everything he touches into gold. His most recent attempt to purchase Twitter has failed miserably. However, Elon Musk’s colossal fortune appears to be growing exponentially. It seems he is on his way to become the world’s first trillionaire.
Musk appears to be on course to become the world’s first trillionaire by 2024, according to a recent analysis conducted by Approve. The wealthy continue to amass wealth. The “Trillion Dollar Club” study by Approve sought to predict which billionaires would become trillionaires.
We compared the annual net worths of the top 30 richest people from 2017 through to the present day, to calculate the year on year annual growth rate for each of our billionaires and estimate how soon each of them will reach one trillion dollars.
The analysis considered Musk’s existing net worth, which was $263 billion at the start of this year, as well as the rate at which it was rising, which was over 129 percent each year. This means Musk may become a trillionaire in as little as two years. Of course, Musk’s fortune could take a turn for the worse.
His failed Twitter transaction has landed him in hot water, and he’s made obsessive remarks about dying “under unexplained circumstances.” Tesla is also in hot water, since a number of its cars have crashed while in autopilot mode, prompting an investigation. With these factors in mind, Musk’s proposed trillion-dollar investment may not be a sure thing.
Elon Musk also made headlines for all the wrong reasons lately. When Musk tweets irresponsibly, his car company, Tesla, suffers financial losses, and some investors, including Bill Gates, are shorting the company’s stock. Sexual harassment claims have also been levelled against him. To get latest updates, stay tuned to Thirsty.
