Steph Curry is one of the best players in the history of the NBA and many fans agree with this. So many consider him the greatest shooter of all time as well. His name also carries a lot of value.
According to TMZ Sports, an incredibly rare Steph Curry rookie card has made its way to the auction block and it could sell for over $500K. The 2009 National Treasures autographed patch piece is being auctioned at PWCC Marketplace.
It is already getting bids over $400K. The front of the card has a photo of a young Steph Curry in his road Warriors jersey. It also features Curry’s autograph in bold, blue ink.
On the back of the card, Curry’s stats are displayed and a mention of one of his most famous triple-doubles. Officials at PWCC state it is in high demand because it’s super rare (it’s numbered to just 99) and because Curry is in another NBA final.
Should they get a win over the Celtics, Steph Curry would be a four-time champion and raise his stock even more. Bidding on the piece will end on June 16th, so we’ll have to see how much it will get sold for in the end.
