A fatal shooting in Boyle Heights left three people dead and injured three others. The incident occurred overnight at a rapper’s party at an underground warehouse in Los Angeles.
Early Sunday morning, shots were fired near Lorena Street and Grand Vista Avenue. According to FOX 11 Los Angeles, a summer kick-off party on the 1400 block of S. Lorena Street near Grande Vista was organized at a warehouse there, with performances by Money Sign Suede, a rapper. The rapper signed with Atlanta Records around a year and a half ago, according to the label.
Chaos broke out around 3:30 a.m., and there was a shooting. According to police, multiple offenders are suspected of shooting six persons. Three people were dead, one is in serious condition, and the other two are in stable condition.
The victims were men in their 20s. According to the police, two of the victims are suspected to be security officers.
MoneySign Suede has issued a statement in response to the horrifying incident. He expressed his sympathies for that night and prayed for the injured and killed. He has also stated that he was not involved in the incident and that when he received the call, he was already on his way home.
