Britney Spears and Sam Asghari ultimately married, after several controversies in their personal lives. The couple had an intimate wedding with several famous faces in attendance, but the artist chose to disregard her own. After not receiving an invitation, Britney Spears’ mother reacted to the wedding after not getting invited.
Page Six reported that despite not receiving an invitation, Britney Spears’ estranged mother congratulated her on her wedding to Sam Asghari. Lynne Spears replied to Britney’s Instagram post on Friday, which included four photographs from the wedding ceremony at the bride’s house in Thousand Oaks, California.
“You look radiant and so happy!”
“Your wedding is the ‘Dream’ wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special! I am soooo happy for you! I love you!”
Following their fallout over her contentious conservatorship, which was dissolved in November 2021 after nearly 14 years, Britney did not invite Lynne or her father, Jamie Spears, to her wedding on Thursday. Jamie Lynn Spears, the “Toxic” singer’s sister, was also not invited, while her brother, Bryan Spears, apparently did. Bryan, on the other hand, did not show up.
Meanwhile, Asghari had other family members, including his three sisters, present to witness him exchange vows with Britney. Among those in attendance were Madonna, Paris Hilton, and Donatella Versace, the designer of Britney’s wedding gown.
In recent years, Asghari, like his now-wife, has been critical of the Spears family, most recently labeling Jamie, a “complete dick” in February 2021 for trying to control” Britney’s life while serving as her conservator.
