The “Say So” hitmaker wants to try stand-up comedy in the future. Doja Cat revealed that comedy is her “hidden passion” in an interview with the June/July 2022 issue of ELLE magazine. Doja Cat, whose real name is Amala Dlamini, went on to say how much she enjoys Ziwe Fumudoh’s Showtime variety show.
My one hidden passion is stand-up. I get nervous just like anyone else, but it feels like it could be a natural, fun thing to do. Ziwe is so f-cking funny and she’s so smart, and I love her so much. She usually likes to bait people into sh-t, and it just would be funny to see her bait me.
Doja Cat also confirmed that she intends to try acting at some point throughout the conversation. “I’d love to act. I’d love to be in movies. That’s a massive want for me.” Check out the entire interview below.
