Ice-T has been pursuing endorsements over the last few years. With commercials for GEICO, CarShield, Cheerios, and Tide, the West Coast gangsta rap pioneer is now making more money from advertisements than he does from touring. Now, the veteran actor from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit can add Raising Cane’s to his resume.
If you’re not familar with Raising Cane’s it a place with bomb chicken strips and that’s about it. They also serve dope iced tea and that’s where Ice-T comes in.
The 63-year-old rapper/actor uploaded a photo of himself handling the cash register at a Raising Cane’s in Phoenix, Arizona, one day before National Ice Tea Day. Wearing headset and all, he wrote a catchy caption about iced tea being served better at Raising Cane’s.
FACT: Iced Tea is better served at @RaisingCanes by Ice-T… Let’s do this again sometime. #CaniacAmbassador.
Check out @RaisingCanes. Iced Tea is Ice-T approved. Like father like son, Iced Tea runs in the family. @ICE_Marrow #CaniacAmbassador Live in Today in AZ.
Ice-T also brought his son Tracy Marrow for a couple picture shoots. They were both photographed next to a cardboard cutout of the veteran MC with the words “Ice-T Knows Iced Tea” written on it. Ice-T discussed his lucrative side hustle and how his “Cop Killer” character almost prevented it from happening in a July 2021 interview with HipHopDX.
Ice-T and his wife Coco Austin recently faced backlash from social media users after pushing her 6-year-old daughter, Chanel, in a stroller. Ice T has a big online presence and he is frequently trending on Twitter. Check out his posts below.
