Amber Heard has received an incredible amount of negative publicity upon losing the trial against Johnny Depp. While Heard still stands by her claims against the Pirates of The Caribbean star, she’s taking to denying other claims made about her career as well.
Heard made headlines after reports suggested that she has been fired from ‘Aquaman 2.’ The reports took over social media, with an unnamed actress having taken the role along with reshoots scheduled for the upcoming DC superhero flick.
Heard’s team has contested the report, saying that she’s still part of the film. They blame the negative publicity that the star received after her loss in the highly-publicized trial. A spokesperson from Heard’s team told TMZ that she’s still on-board with the project.
The rumor mill continues as it has from Day One — inaccurate, insensitive, and slightly insane.
Warner Bros has not come forward with a statement to neither confirm nor deny her firing. While her scenes as Hera have been shot about a year ago, the star doesn’t call the shots about how much of screen time she receives in the movie. She’s been paid for the role as well with the amount of $2 million.
Heard has other rumors swirling about her as well. According to one, her screen time is significantly lesser than initially planned. DC chief Walter Hamada implied that her screen time was less than 10 minutes, though he didn’t give a figure. Johnny Depp got overwhelming support leading up to the verdict, but Amber Heard got the opposite treatment.
