Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander previously made headlines after showing up at the pop star’s wedding to longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari. Fans are well aware of Britney’s short-lived marriage to Jason. It appears, Jason has got himself into serious legal trouble.
According to Daily Mail, Jason was charged with felony stalking on Monday. He was also charged with misdemeanor counts of trespassing, vandalism and battery, Ventura County court records show. He has yet to enter a plea, and was set to appear in court for arraignment on Monday afternoon.
Alexander was Spears’ first husband. The two were married for less than three days in 2004 before an annulment. As previously reported, Jason Alexander has been booked for trespassing, vandalism and 2 batteries related to his physical altercations with Britney’s security. He was caught carrying a knife during the wedding.
Spears and Asghari obtained an emergency protective order in court against Jason the day after the wedding. Alexander, who was a childhood friend of Spears, was streaming live on Instagram when he approached Spears’ house. He appeared in a mostly empty but decorated room, telling security Spears had invited him.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said, deputies responding to a trespassing call detained him, and he was arrested when they learned he had a warrant for his arrest in another county. It was not clear whether Alexander had yet retained an attorney Monday. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more updates.
