One of the most iconic movie props of the 1980s is heading to auction. Back to the Future 2 showed Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly traveling into the futuristic world of 2015. There, he used a hoverboard that he hijacked from a kid to escape his enemies.

Fans now have a chance to own that iconic pink board. A massive online auction features Marty McFly’s hoverboard and other iconic movie memorabilia and props with bidding available online. Fans will be able to join The Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction via Zoom, according to Newsweek.

There are items from several iconic franchises besides Back to the Future. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and the Marvel franchise are represented, among others. Several items’ starting bids are as low as $100.

Marty McFly’s hoverboard will see a starting price of $40,000. Auction organizers expect the rare item to go for somewhere between $80,000 and $120,000. That’s not even the biggest BTTF item on the auction block.

Interested fans can check out the full auction catalog online. Bidding starts on June 21 and will run until June 24. This could be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to own one of cinema’s most epic props.
