Drake is one of the most dominating artists in the world of hip-hop. The rapper’s teases for new music get a tremendous amount of traction from his fans, and this time is going to be no different. The rapper has announced on Instagram that he is about to drop his next album very soon.
Drizzy took to Instagram and announced to his hardcore followers that he will be releasing his next album ‘Honestly, Nevermind‘ very soon. He told his 113 million followers that the album is in fact going to drop at midnight.
Drake’s fans can listen to the album in just a few hours as it will drop right at the end of the day. The rapper always sees a great deal of response on his surprise announcements. This followers from how well his last few projects have faired.
The rapper’s last EP ‘Scary Hours 2’ which only contained three songs, made huge strides on the charts. The three songs charted consecutively on the top 3 spots of Billboard Hot 100 charts.
Drake’s last studio album, Certified Lover Boy, was also a huge hit. It sold over two million copies upon its release, leaving the likes of Kanye West’s DONDA behind in terms of sales. The album held the RIAA platinum status just a month within its release, and we can expect the same with ‘Honestly, Nevermind.’
