Chris Hemsworth made a name for himself by portraying the role of Thor, the God of Thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. After Avengers: Endgame, half of the original Avengers have retired from active duty, with Hawkeye, Hulk and Thor being the only heroes left. Joe Rogan also defended Chris Hemsworth for good reason.
Hemsworth always has to keep himself in excellent shape for his films, especially when he has to portray Thor. After Thor: Love & Thunder’s latest trailer came out, fans were impressed by his physique.
However, there were those fans who also accused Hemsworth of using steroids. While speaking on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan fired back at fans who accused Hemsworth of using steroids.
“Have you ever watched [Hemsworth’s] workouts? People are like, ‘He’s taking steroids!’ For sure, USADA [United States Anti-Doping Agency] is not knocking on Chris Hemsworth’s door. But you don’t get that big without immense amounts of hard work. There’s no way. People think he’s just taking steroids. Bro, relax!”
Hemsworth is also bulking up to play Hulk Hogan in an upcoming biopic. That film is still in pre-production, but he’s still plenty ready for Hulkamania.
Rogan added that even by using PEDs, one can’t achieve an incredible physique without putting in the work. Thor: Love & Thunder is set to release next month and fans couldn’t be more excited about it.
