Adele remains one of the most talented female singers in the music industry currently. Things have been going great for the singer, who recently announced her relationship with sports agent Rich Paul. Adele’s much-anticipated Las Vegas residency has been delayed again.
Adele was scheduled to perform at Caesars Palace. Recent reports claim that the Palace laid off staff over the summer. According to The Sun, theatre employees at the hotel, casino, and entertainment complex in Nevada were instructed to ‘go home’ until September.
Adele’s long-awaited concerts could be thrown into jeopardy as a result of the purported move. Rod Stewart is scheduled to perform at the arena beginning in late September. Adele also claimed her residency ‘has to happen’ this year.
According to the publication, union leaders representing employees at The Colosseum, Caesars Palace’s primary entertainment venue, revealed that employees had been advised to ‘go home until September.’ Adele recently hinted that she wants to have a baby in 2023. It appears like fans will have to wait longer to see the Chasing Pavements hitmaker play.
It was originally reported that space was being made at The Colosseum for her to perform her biggest hits, with Keith Urban’s residency ending on June 18th and Rod Stewart’s beginning on September 23rd. The concerts, which were initially scheduled for January 2022, could be shifted to the Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood, according to reports.
Adele and her team are believed to be in “serious talks” about finalizing the location. However, there has been no indication on whether the new venue has been secured, with Planet Hollywood supposedly already putting on shows till Christmas with performances by John Legend, Miranda Lambert, and Shania Twain, among others. Representatives for Adele and Caesar’s Palace have been contacted by for comment, but have not provided any feedback.
