Many fans would agree that the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise is essentially Vin Diesel’s series at this point, but Paul Walker’s Brian O’Conner character was more important in the grand scheme of things according to many. Sadly, Paul Walker passed, but he will also get his own star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
Paul Walker tragically passed away on November 30th, 2013, due to injuries sustained after a car accident. Paul Walker and Jenni Rivera are now set to get their own stars on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
The news was revealed in a statement by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce that announced next year’s two dozen honorees. Many believe this was a long time coming as well.
“The Selection Panel, made up of fellow Walk of Famers, hand-picks a group of honorees each year that represent various genres of the entertainment world,” chairwoman and Walk of Fame star recipient Ellen K said in a statement, “The panel thoughtfully selected these talented individuals, and we can’t wait to celebrate them as they become part of Hollywood’s history with the unveiling of their star on the world’s most famous walkway!”
Paul Walker will forever remain a believed star in the hearts and minds of fans and peers alike. Fans certainly agree that Walker more than deserves this recognition, even if it was posthumously.
