Emma Stone is the recipient of various accolades, including an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, and a Golden Globe Award. In 2017, she was the world’s highest-paid actress and named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. Emma recently made a fortune by selling off her Malibu property.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Emma Stone made more than her asking price when she sold her stunning Malibu ranch property for $4.4 million. The 33-year-old Oscar winner had originally listed the home for $4.2 million. However, after five bids apparently chased the property, the final offer came in substantially more.
Stone bought the home in 2018, a year after winning an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in the blockbuster musical La La Land. The successful buyer’s identity hasn’t been revealed yet. Sotheby’s International Realty listing agent Eric Lavey told the outlet, ‘This is a prime example of a category that is so in demand.’
He was alluding to the home’s outstanding location in Malibu, atop a bluff with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean from nearly every room. He also added, ‘Where, under $5 million, can you get an experience like this? Good luck, it’s not happening.’ Rochelle Maize of Nourmand & Associates represented the final buyer in the deal.
The Wall Street Journal earlier reported that Stone had put the oceanfront home up for sale after purchasing it for $3.25 million in 2018. The Favorite star’s one-story home in the posh Southern California neighborhood is approximately 1,800 square feet and sits on 3.2 acres of land. The mansion was characterized to the press by Sotheby’s International Realty listing agent Eric Lavey as “a classic 1958 California Midcentury hanging over the Pacific” and “the Malibu beach house they would choose for a Nancy Meyers movie.”
The home of the Scottsdale, Arizona native boasts breathtaking views of the Los Angeles skyline, Pacific Ocean, and Catalina Island, as well as being within walking distance of neighboring hiking trails and the beach. The Cruella de Vil star’s home, which was recently refurbished, features a cutting-edge kitchen with gold accents. The home’s living area is centered on a fireplace housed in a white brick column, with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing plenty of natural light in. You may check out some pictures below.
