Sasha Banks’ WWE Contract Status Is A Confusing Mess

Sasha Banks’ current status with WWE remains a mystery. The Boss walked out along with Naomi after she became unhappy with her booking in the company. Since then, several reports have come out claiming that Sasha has already received her release.

Ringside News exclusively reported that the issue was being handled by attorneys. That information was confirmed and reported by multiple other sources. A known WWE insider on Reddit claimed that Sasha had been released weeks ago.

Now, another conflicting report has come out. Dave Meltzer appeared on TSN’s ‘Sunday Night’s Main Event‘ this week. Dave said that he heard the same thing that was reported here. Sasha Banks’ WWE release is being negotiated.

“As far as I know, the only thing that I have been told is that they are negotiating it right now. I don’t know that the negotiation is final. I know that it’s been written (in media reports) that it is.

The last I asked, which would have been two days ago, it was not final but it wouldn’t shock me if it happened this week. That is how it was described to me a couple of days ago. Where it is at this moment, I don’t know.”

While there has been no concrete proof that Sasha Banks has been released, it certainly seems things are headed in that direction. It could be simply a matter of working out some details. We should know more about Sasha’s status with WWE soon, but for now, it’s up in the air.
