Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s trial became one of the most highly discussed topics in the past couple two months. Through a lot of trials and tribulations, fans got to see an uglier side to both of them. Depp’s name continues to have a lot of value even now as well.
The trial finally came to an end as the jury, as expected, finally ruled in Depp’s favor on Wednesday, June 1st. Amber Heard was utterly devastated at the outcome, and Johnny Depp fans were simply elated.
According to TMZ, the value of Johnny Depp’s movie props are only increasing after his trial win. The actual insert hand Depp wore in the 1990 classic “Edward Scissorhands” just sold at auction for an astounding $81,250. This was twice what experts projected it would sell for.
At the time of the sale’s announcement, when Depp and Heard’s trial was going on, it was projected the ‘Scissorhands’ would sell for somewhere between $30k-$50k.
Even Johnny Depp’s ‘Cry Baby’ motorcycle will be sold for a ton of cash as well. The auction opens on June 25th and features a lot of Depp memorabilia. We’ll have to see who will own them all.
