Regé-Jean Page Shoots Down Bridgerton Season 3 Return Rumors

Bridgerton is currently one of the most popular shows on Netflix right now and became a pop culture phenomenon in a short time after airing in 2020. Regé-Jean Page was a huge part of its success in season 1 as well. He also shot down rumors of a season 3 return.

Regé-Jean Page portrayed the role of Simon Basset, The Duke of Hastings and central love interest of Phoebe Dynevor’s Daphne Bridgerton. Page became one of Bridgerton‘s breakout stars.

Due to this, fans were shocked when it was revealed he was not returning for the second season. Various reasons were given for his absence. With season 3 in the works, rumors have spread that he will return to the show.

Regé-Jean Page took to his Instagram and uploaded a post, where he uploaded a photo of himself and former Bridgerton co-star Bailey catching up in Italy. Page made it clear he is not returning to the show for the third season.

The boys are back in town. ❤️

Page is set to act in Netflix’s upcoming action movie The Gray Man as well as the upcoming Dungeons and Dragons movie, starring Chris Pine. It is unlikely he’ll ever return to the show, and fans just have to accept that now.
