Teen Mom Star Farrah Abraham Charged With Battery Over Nightclub Scuffle

Farrah Abraham, who is popular for her role in Teen Mom, continues to make headlines even after leaving the franchise back in 2017. Farrah has been charged with battery for allegedly slapping a guard earlier this year.

According to court documents sourced by Page Six, Abraham was charged earlier this month on June 2 and has an arraignment set for June 23rd. She is also going to face a whole year in prison and has also been charged with a fine of $2,000.

Abraham’s lawyer said on Wednesday that no charges have been brought against her, despite the fact that Abraham’s arraignment hearing is listed on the criminal case schedule of the Superior Court of California for Los Angeles County.

Dario C. Gomez, her attorney, claimed to the outlet, “The Law Office of Dario C. Gomez, Esq., on behalf of our client, Ms. Farrah Abraham, would like to clarify that no charges to date have been brought against Ms. Abraham in connection with the incident that occurred at Grandmaster Records on January 15, 2022.”

“That is because Ms. Abraham committed no crime, and is, in fact, the victim in all of this,” Gomez continued. “Our office is currently investigating the incident further and is in the process of pursuing any and all remedies available to Ms. Abraham for the physical and emotional damages our client has suffered as a result of this unfortunate incident.”

Back on January 16th, Farrah was booked into county jail for allegedly slapping a security guard outside a Los Angeles club. That experience went viral online as someone caught it on video.

Abraham is not a first-time offender; she previously pleaded guilty in November 2018 to a misdemeanor charge of resisting police following a dispute with a security officer at the Beverly Hills Hotel in June of that year. She received a two-year probation term and five days of community service.
