Katy Perry is certainly one of the most recognized musicians in the whole industry. She also has a terrific fashion sense. On top of that, Katy Perry loves spending time with her husband, Orlando Bloom. She also paid a waitress a huge tip for an amusing reason.

The ‘Fireworks’ singer is a huge celebrity, and it is almost impossible to not recognize her. However, it seems an Australian waitress didn’t quite get the memo in this case.

According to the Daily Mail, Katy Perry was in Australia with Orlando Bloom, who is currently shooting a movie called “Wizards! Perry had requested a table from the hostess at a café in Port Douglas.

However, Indianna Paull told Perry that there were no tables available, as she revealed in a now-deleted TikTok.

The waitress admitted she did not recognize Perry under the sunglasses and hat, and Perry that she would have to wait. She then revealed Perry later tipped her generously for treating her like a “normal person.”

“She [Perry] came in to get breakfast with her family, and we didn’t have a table available.

Fans certainly appreciated the fact that Katy Perry ended up giving the young waitress a nice tip for something so normal. Perhaps more celebrities will follow suit after what Perry did.
