Ozzy Osbourne recently went through a life-altering surgery. The surgery had compelling risks, but the rock star made it through and is recovering quite satisfactorily. Sharon Osbourne and the rocker want to redo their marriage vows after such a difficult phase in their life.
Ozzy’s surgery apparently did wonders for him, since he’s all set to release a whole new studio album. The Black Sabbath frontman has already resumed his journey of making new music, given that he released a new single on Friday.
Osbourne’s single is titled “Patient Number 9,” and it’s the title track of his whole new upcoming album. The star is going to drop his upcoming album on September 9, or 9/9 as he prefers it.
The Prince of Darkness is making a big comeback, as the album features a huge host of legendary talent. His new single features Jeff Beck, and the album is produced by Andrew Watt.
Patient Number 9 features some of the biggest names in rock, such as Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Zakk Wylde, Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, Duff McKagan, and even Eric Clapton. Taylor Hawkins is also posthumously featured on the album, while Tony Iommi, Osbourne’s Sabbath bandmate is also making a first-time appearance on his solo album.
